Blue Hills Trailside Museum to host Family Owl Prowl

Family Owl Prowl to be held this weekend

Explore the world of owls in this program for ages 6 and up on November 10th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Discover some of the unique adaptations of owls, practice owl calls, and meet some of the museum’s resident owls before going on a night hike to search for owls and other nocturnal life. Space is limited and there will be no walk-in registration for this event.

To preserve the magic of the night, we ask that only adults carry flashlights. Please leave toys, clothing, or shoes that flash or make noise at home so we can enjoys the sounds of the animals and the twinkling of the stars. Please wear sturdy walking shoes and insect repellent is recommended. Rain date for this event is Saturday, November 17.

The recommended audience is for family, suitable for children 6 – 18 years. The cost is $8.00 for members and $10.00 for nonmembers. Registration is required in advance.
