First Parish to host Gratitude Sanctuary following Thanksgiving Day activities

Gratitude Sanctuary to be held on November 23rd

First Parish Church Unitarian Universalist, at 535 Canton Avenue in Milton, will host a Gratitude Sanctuary on Friday, November 23rd, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Following Thanksgiving Day festivities, Jennie Mulqueen and First Parish Church’s Green Action Team invite the wider community to engage in the powerful practice of gratitude. Consumerism and toxic material waste threaten the health of our planet and our souls. Gather for a quiet afternoon of reflection and simple refreshments around the Parish Hall fireplace.

Bring one item to place on a Gratitude Altar as well as journals, dream/vision boards, or any other contemplative projects that make your heart hum. Materials for collage will be on hand. We will begin and end with singing and sharing, and the heart of our time together will be silent meditation and project work. Families are welcome. Admission is free.
