Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton seeking adult volunteers

Volunteers needed for various areas

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton (BID-Milton), a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is currently seeking adult volunteers.

Opportunities, days and hours available include:

  • Thursdays, Saturday or Sundays, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Greeters at main information desk
  • Wednesdays, 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Transports to walk patients to destinations, deliver specimens to the Lab and bring discharged patients to the main entrance
  • Weekdays, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Volunteers for Physical Therapy to escort patients, clean and prepare equipment for use
  • Thursdays, 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., evenings and weekends – Volunteers for the Emergency Department to deliver specimens to the Lab, provide comfort care and prepare nursing supplies.

The hospital prefers adult volunteers who are able to make a six-month to one-year commitment. BID-Milton also provides a kind, supportive environment and a variety of benefits for volunteers.
