Milton Art Center presents comedian Steve Sweeney on May 6

Save the Date! Saturday, May 6, 7:00 – 11:00 .p.m

On Saturday night, join us as host, comedian Steve Sweeney entertains us with his musings, view and bid on art produced by local artists, listen to the sweet sounds of local musicians, enjoy appetizers and drinks donated by Novara/Cypress Caterers, while catching up with friends and neighbors, priceless!

All of the proceeds go to raise funds to make the outdoor grounds of the art center look more like an art center.

We are now in our 11th year of serving the community through the arts. Celebrate with us! This is our vision: as people are walking to East Milton Square they would pause and admire the flowers… children would hop on a stepstool to see the latest miniature art show on display in the mini art gallery. On a hot day people take a minute to sit on the bench in the shade and admire the public art installation.

Aesthetically, enhancing the outdoors of the Milton Art Center will be another step towards the beautification of East Milton Square that was started by the renovation that improved the East Milton Deck.

In the back, a mosaic design will enhance the cement ramp, decorative pavers will lead to the back entrance and to the driveway, shade structures will keep the sun away during outdoor classes, equipment will be stored in a shed against the far side of the building.

We already love this building; help us make the grounds reflect our mission of the importance of educating, encouraging and empowering all of us to recognize that we need the arts in our daily life.
