Recycling Center Open Oct. 6

The Department of Public Works would like to remind residents that the Milton Recycling Center will be open this Saturday, October 6th, from 9am – 12 noon.

The Recycling Center accepts items such as televisions, air conditioners, propane tanks, fluorescent lightbulbs, rechargeable batteries, and mercury-containing items. Some items require trash stickers to recycle. Click here to view more information on accepted items and fees.

Reminder: Yard waste collection will take place Oct. 10/11, Oct. 31/Nov. 1

Yard waste pickups also continue this month. Yard waste will be picked up on your trash day during the week of October 10th – 11th and the week of October 31st – November 1st. Set out your yard waste with your trash or recycling for a pickup. For guidelines on acceptable yard waste, click here.
