Entertaining concert by “Billy D & the Rockits Doo Wop Show Band” to be held at Porchfest Milton

The first musical event for Fall will be a very fun and entertaining concert by a group called “Billy D & the Rockits Doo Wop Show Band” on Saturday, September 23rd from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. as part of the “Porchfest Milton” festival. This program will be held on the front porch of the library (near the old front door side on Canton Avenue) unless is rains, and then it will be located in the lower level Keys Community Room. The band is a seven-piece group of talented and dedicated full harmony singers and musicians performing some of the greatest doo wop hits from the 1950’s and 1960’s. Billy D & the Rock-it’s prides itself in keeping doo wop music alive while stepping back in time, bringing to you an authentic look, including sharkskin suits, old fashioned microphones and more. Also a blanket would be helpful for seating on the lawn, and it’s a great place for a picnic. Come, wear your poodle skirt, and have a blast at this unique program which is great for all ages!
