Join the fun at the Forbes House Museum’s annual Lincoln Day celebration! There will be Civil War re-enactors, crafts, games, face painting, oversized Lincoln logs and special demonstrations by Milton Scout Troop 5. Visit the Lincoln Cabin and see William Hathaway Forbes’s actual Civil War Union army uniform.

This year, the Forbes House is partnering with the New England-based nonprofit World of Change, to provide an opportunity for children to direct philanthropic change. By collecting and donating coins into the World of Change truck, children will be able to choose which area of need to support, and all funds donated will be given directly to a local Milton charity that addresses that need. So, collect all your change, including your Lincoln pennies, and bring it to Lincoln Day!
