Milton School Committee to meet on June 16th via Zoom
The Milton School Committee will hold its next regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be conducted virtually via Zoom, allowing community members to attend remotely.

Agenda Highlights:
Public Comment Period: A 15-minute public comment session will be held in accordance with Policy BEDH, offering residents the opportunity to share feedback or concerns.
Executive Session: The Committee will enter a closed session to discuss collective bargaining matters with AFSCME under M.G.L.c. 30A, § 21(a)(3). The session is being held due to the potential impact an open discussion may have on the Committee’s bargaining position.
Contract Approvals: Upon returning to open session, the Committee will vote on contract approvals, including a new agreement with AFSCME.
Subcommittee Reports:
Finance Subcommittee: The Committee will review and vote on vendor warrants and receive an update on the FY25 budget.
Facilities Advisory Committee and School Building Committee: Both committees will provide reports. The School Committee is expected to vote on school personnel appointments to the School Building Committee (SBC).
Administrative Items: The agenda also includes approval of the evening’s agenda and previous meeting minutes before the session concludes with adjournment.
