Movie Night at Milton Public Library: The Amateur screens August 20th

Finally there will be our monthly Wednesday Night at the Movies happening on August 20, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Keys Community Room. The film we are showing is: “The Amateur” and it stars Rami Malek as a brilliant, but deeply introverted decoder for the CIA working out of a basement office at headquarters in Langley, who life is turned upside down when his wife is killed in a London terrorist attack.

When his supervisors refuse to take action, he takes matters into his own hands, embarking on a dangerous trek across the globe to track down those responsible, his intelligence serving as the ultimate weapon for eluding his pursuers and achieving his revenge. No signup is required to attend this free screening.

The rating of this movie is PG-13 due to strong violence and language, and while the violence is not overly graphic, it is present throughout and can be intense. Other actors in “The Amateur” include Laurence Fishburne, Rachel Brosnahan and Jon Bernthal. The running time is 122 minutes, and we hope to see you there!
