Boston City Singers Tour Choir and World Rhythm Ensemble to hold special performance with Croatian music ensemble The Pajdasi Tamburitza

Performance to be held at First Parish

In celebration of its upcoming tour of Croatia, Boston City Singers Tour Choir and World Rhythm Ensemble will be holding a special performance with Croatian music ensemble The Pajdasi Tamburitza on Sunday, April 28 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Parish in Milton, 535 Canton Avenue, Milton. Under the direction of Jane Money and Kimani Lumsden, the youth music groups will perform music from around the world including South African folk songs, a show tune from the musical “Ragtime”, and songs of love and faith from Guinea, Japan, Columbia, Brazil, New Zealand, Jamaica, and Croatia. Special guests The Pajdasi Tamburitza Band will perform traditional folk and dance songs from the villages of Croatia. At-will donations accepted at the door in support of the Tour Choir’s upcoming Global Voices Tour of Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and the Czech Republic.
