Letters: Milton Municipal Fiber Initiative advocates for municipal broadband network in Milton

Dear friend  –

The Milton Municipal Fiber Initiative is a grassroots organization advocating for a municipal broadband network for the town of Milton MA: a 100% fiber optic network that will deliver blazing fast speeds, save families money, and meet the ever-expanding data needs of our schools, first responders, town government, residents, and local businesses for decades to come.

I’m writing to you today for two reasons: (1) to let you know about our efforts to bring fast, reliable, and affordable broadband to Milton, and (2) to ask for your support, and join the growing chorus of voices working to make it happen.

Please visit our website to learn more about our goals and vision.  The town of Milton has made great progress towards municipal broadband and it’s our hope that we can continue that progress.

If you share our goals, please support our efforts by adding your name to our friendly petition to Milton’s Select Board.

The creation of a municipal broadband network is an incredible opportunity for the people of Milton. We can build vital public infrastructure to ensure a fast, reliable, and affordable connection to the digital economy, one that has you, your family, and your community’s best interests at heart.

It’s the chance to deliver real and substantial economic benefits today, while at the same time establishing a foundation that future generations can build upon.

Thank you, and I hope you’ll join us –

Joe Chamberlin
