Portions of Canton Ave. to close through October

Please be advised that portions of Canton Avenue between Atherton Street and Brush Hill Road will be closed from mid-September through October 2015 due to ongoing construction of the water system infrastructure in that area.

Canton Avenue at Blue Hill Avenue (Rt. 138) has been re-opened to all traffic for access to Brush Hill Road northbound only.

Canton Avenue will be closed to through traffic.

Access will be maintained at all times for residents, school busses, trash trucks and deliveries from at least one end of the detour. As the exact location of the work crews within the work area will change on a daily basis, Police Details will be stationed at both ends of the detour to assist and instruct local traffic accordingly.
