The application deadline for the 2016 Milton Young Young Musicians Festival is approaching.

The application deadline is Monday, May 2.

The Festival is Saturday, May 14, and the Gold Medal concert is the following day, May 15.

Eligibility:

The Milton Young Musicians Festival is open to students in Grades 6-12 who

• attend any of the schools in Milton, Massachusetts – public or private
• whose residence is Milton, Massachusetts, or
• who is a student of any Milton teacher.

Additionally, any person up to the age of 25 years whose residence is Milton, Massachusetts, who attends school in Milton, or who works in Milton may participate.

The Festival is open to students in the following: Voice, Piano, Strings (violin, viola, cello, bass), Percussion, Woodwinds(flute, piccolo, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon) and Brass (trumpet, french horn, trombone, baritone, tuba).
