Mel O’Drama offers many options for summer camps in Milton, Quincy, and Mashpee
The Mel O’ Drama School of Acting for kids opened it’s door in Milton in the Fall of 2011 and has grown, quite dramatically, to a school that now offers year round classes in traditional drama, character development, improvisation, expressive movement, songwriting, musical theatre and we’re always adding new experiences to the list!
As we approach the end of our Spring session with 11 class shows in June, we prepare for our Summer camps which will take place in Milton, Quincy and one very special week of camp in Mashpee on the Cape. Although many spots have been filled, we have room for more little actors so be sure to check out our availability on our website.
One of our favorite things to do in Mel O’ Drama is collaborate with other local businesses so you’ll find us combining drama camp with cooking camp (‘From drama to dinner’ this June and August) providing local families with full day camp options for their children AND coming up this June 12th, Mel O’ Drama is joining forces with an art studio in Quincy called The Art Spot to offer a workshop entitled ‘Paint me a story.’ Students in this workshop will combine the art of story-telling (creating and presenting a story with Mel) with ART (Sharon will guide them as they paint and design their own backdrop to their story) and we will present our work to families at the end. Limited spots available for this workshop.
Whether it’s a weekly drama class for you 6 year old, an improv class for your 10 year old or a fabulous Mel O’ Drama birthday party for your 8 year old where he/she is the star of their own show, we have something for everyone at Mel O’ Drama.
