Recently, Representative Walter F. Timilty hosted the Cunningham School’s fifth- grade class on their annual visit to the State House. As part of this State House visit, which has become a rite of passage for the graduating class, Representative Timilty orchestrated an outstanding guided-tour given by three of the Secretary of the State’s phenomenal tour guides. Moreover, Representative Timilty, personally, led the entire fifth-grade class into the Chamber of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Once in the august Chamber, which is referred to as the “People’s Chamber”, Timilty, with his hands on style, arranged for the fifth-graders and their chaperones to sit in the antique desks that are, solely, reserved for the elected-members of the House of Representatives. At this time, Timilty conducted a fluid question and answer session with students and adults alike.

Fallowing the tour Representative Timilty stated, “Once again, it was a pleasure to host our wonderful fifth-grade students from the Cunningham Elementary School!”
