Trash to be picked up early on Thursday, Jan 4., due to winter storm

Early Trash Pickup – Thursday January 4, 2018

Due to the upcoming snowstorm, the Town has authorized Sunrise Scavenger to pick up trash and recycling beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018.

Please place your trash and recycling out on the curb by 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 4th.

Placing your items out on Wednesday night is acceptable.

Clear your street of sporting equipment!

Also be sure to clear your street of sporting equipment like basketball hoops or hockey nets. Doing so will help plows and rubbish trucks make it through the streets.

Reminders:

The Town Recycling Center is open this Saturday, January 6th, from 9:00 a.m. – noon. To learn more about accepted items at the recycling center, click here: Recycling Center

Holiday tree pickup will occur on Wednesday, January 10 and Thursday, January 11, on your regular trash pickup day. This will be the only pickup for holiday trees. Please make sure there is no tinsel, ornaments, wire, stands, etc. on the tree. No plastic bags.
