Two Teen Clay Studio Nights to be offered at Milton Art Center

Two nights to be held on April 20th and May 11th

The Milton Art Center presents a new monthly almost free clay program for teens. This will run monthly on a Friday evening, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. during the school year, (not summer.) The town as a whole is focusing on teens – it is widely recognized that there is no public safe space for them to gather. The Milton Art Center has proposed that a clay program would be of interest to teens, creating a functional object in a low-key, safe environment where they can talk, eat pizza and create.

THIS COMMUNITY ART PROGRAM IS SPONSORED THROUGH THE GENEROSITY OF THE COPELAND FAMILY FOUNDATION SUPPORTING A REDUCED FEE FOR EACH TEEN, THE MILTON WOMAN’S CLUB WHO DONATED FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE KILN, PEEL PIZZA FOR DONATING PIZZAS FOR TEEN CLAY STUDIO NIGHT AND OUR MAC VOLUNTEERS.

Special thanks to the hardworking members of the MAC Music Committee that make events like these possible: Claudia Wellington, Steve Cousineau, Scott Love, Dennis O’Brien, Dave Wyatt, Celia Eberle, Jeremy Blanchard, Jeff Stoodt and Kevin Dambruch.
