Key Notes School of Music to offer music lessons in the privacy of your own home

Key Notes School of Music, based in the East Milton area, has professionally trained local music instructors ready to provide lessons to you or your child in the privacy of your own home!

No commitment is required. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Naoko Fukaya, a 2010 graduate of Longy School of Music (M.M.) moved to the East Milton area in 2014 and started the Key Notes School of Music with her husband, Robert. Prior to starting Key Notes, Naoko had been teaching lessons privately in the Boston area since 2008. Today, Key Notes offers lessons on many additional instruments, please refer to our website or contact Key Notes for the current list.

Key Notes’ Teaching Staff

All instructors for Key Notes are heavily vetted and carefully selected. All must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Music (or higher), undergo background checks, are required to provide multiple references, and successfully pass multiple interviews and a live audition. Biographies are published on the Key Notes website.

Key Notes instructors come from diverse backgrounds and have played with renowned symphonies like the BSO and other orchestras all over the world from Europe to East Asia.

All instructors are fluent in English and some speak a number of different languages.

Taking Lessons with Key Notes

Lessons are available on either a weekly or bi-weekly schedule. There are no quarterly or seasonal commitments required to begin lessons. Programs are specifically tailored to each student’s range of ability and interests in various types of music.

Continuing your lessons with Key Notes also offers additional seasonal perks, such as bi-annual “progress reports” (if desired) and an end-of year recital for students, families and friends.
