How to submit your non-profit/charity or holiday event to the Milton Scene & Milton Neighbors

Our policy on posting events in Milton

It’s that time of year again where Milton is dazzled by holiday bazaars and charity events! Here is our policy on getting your special holiday event posted. This policy is for non-profit and charity events only. Events held at for-profit businesses are welcome to explore our advertising options.

  • The Milton Scene will accept from each non-profit entity two free stories per month, which we will publish on the Milton Scene and schedule to each of our social media outlets, one time.(Milton Neighbors, The Milton Scene on Facebook and @miltonscene on Twitter.)
  • All posts must be run through The Milton Scene. Non-profits are not permitted to post their own stories in the Milton Neighbors group. Posts made independently on Milton Neighbors will be deleted.
  • Each post must contain information for only ONE individual event, and the two free posts must be for different events. Lists of weekly or monthly events are not permitted.
  • Additional posts will incur advertising fees.
  • We require at least 7 business days notice before a story is posted.

Please submit in Microsoft Word format. We do not post flyers.
