Town meeting to discuss Lincoln Street pedestrian safety improvements

Town of Milton awarded a grant by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation

In the fall of 2018, the Town of Milton was awarded a grant by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) through its “Complete Streets” program to perform pedestrian safety improvements along Lincoln Street. The Milton Department of Public Works has scheduled a meeting for March 7th, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Keys Community Room at the Milton Public Library to present preliminary design concepts and to discuss the project with residents.

The project includes the installation of a double-wide sidewalk along the southerly (odd) side of Lincoln Street and Brook Road to Pierce Middle School and safety improvements at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Brook Road.

All are welcome to attend. For questions regarding the meeting, please call the Engineering Office at 617-898-4968.
