“Local History Book Group” to discuss The Gardner Heist: The True Story of the World’s Largest Unsolved Art Theft by Ulrich Boser

Director Will Adamczyk offers his “Local History Book Group” on Wednesday, May 1st, at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room. The book to be discussed is The Gardner Heist: The True Story of the World’s Largest Unsolved Art Theft by Ulrich Boser (c2008). On March 18, 1990, two men dressed as policemen broke into Boston’s Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and walked out with a dozen masterpieces worth $500 million. To date, not one painting has been recovered. Check out a copy of the book at our Borrower Services desk, and please join Will for a fun discussion.
