Temple Bath David of the South Shore to host Open House BBQ
All are invited to this FREE event
Are you interested in exploring a progressive Jewish community for study and prayer? Need a school for your children to learn about Judaism and Hebrew? How about a delicious meal and friendly conversation with new and old friends?
All are invited to the Temple Beth David Open House and Bar-B-Q, Saturday, August 24, 2019, beginning at 4:00 p.m. (rain or shine). This is a terrific opportunity to meet Rabbi David Winship and Temple Beth David’s lay leaders. The event will take place in the beautiful “Rosie’s Garden” behind the building.
The event will begin with music shared by the synagogue’s rabbinic intern, Sarah Noyavitz, followed by a fun “gaga pit” tournament and other lawn games. A delicious barbecue meal will be served, followed by a brief Havdalah service, marking the end of Shabbat and the beginning of the new week.

Vibrancy and innovation are important to our practice of Judaism. Through lifelong learning, we wrestle with the teachings of Torah. Through engagement in our community, we search for meaning, comfort, support, and celebration in our lives. Temple Beth David reaches out to the wider community through embracing social justice. We inspire and challenge everyone in our community to forge strong connections to their Jewish heritage, God, Israel, and the Jewish community.
