Mass Audubon calls all veterans and their families this Veteran’s Day.

Mass Audubon is again offering military veterans and their families free admission to its 60 wildlife sanctuaries across the Commonwealth on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11.

Welcoming vets and their families to wildlife sanctuaries at no cost on November 11 has become a tradition on the holiday, and is a modest way for the state’s largest nature conservation nonprofit to thank the men and women who have served their country in the military.

According to the Department of Veteran Affairs, there are more than 300,000 veterans living in the Bay State

Mass Audubon operates a network of wildlife sanctuaries extending from the Cape and Islands to the Berkshires, and attracting more than a half million visitors annually.
