Climate Change Vulnerability Listening Session to be held January 9th, 2020

The Milton Department of Public Works will hold a listening session on January 9, 2020, at the Keys Community Room at the Milton Public Library (476 Canton Ave).

The purpose of this session to support the town’s Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Planning grant by incorporating community knowledge and priorities into the Town’s climate change vulnerability assessment.

The Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness grant program (MVP) helps communities to:

  • Define extreme weather and natual and climate related hazards;
  • Identify existing and future vulnerabilities and strengths;
  • Develop and prioritize actions to reduce risk and build community resilience.

All are welcome to attend and participate.
