Select Board to seek town election delay, adopts COVID-19-related policies

Meeting last night by remote communication pursuant to the Governor’s Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, the Select Board took the following actions:

  • Voted to petition the Governor to delay the April 28 Town Election;
  • Voted to adopt a Work From Home Policy for all Town employees;
  • Voted to adopt a Communicable Disease Policy for all Town employees; and
  • Voted to adopt a Stay/Send Home Policy for all Town employees.

Prior to these actions, the Board heard updates on COVID-19 from Town Public Health Director Caroline Kinsella, and on the closure of Town facilities and ongoing Town services from Town Administrator Mike Dennehy.

The Board’s next scheduled meeting is on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 4pm. Details for remote participation will be attached to the agenda.
