First Congregational Church holds virtual egg hunt for Town of Milton

First Congregational Church invites everyone to participate in a socially distant version of the traditional hunt

This year, not being able to celebrate Easter in the usual way, First Congregational Church of Milton is streaming Easter Sunday service online, and holding a virtual egg hunt throughout the Town of Milton.

Everyone is invited to participate in the hunt. Coloring pages are available for download at fccmilton.org. Simply, print and color the egg, cut it out and hang it on your door or window where it can be spotted from the street. On Easter, head out, maintaining social distance, to see how many eggs you can find.

“This Easter service will feel different then past services; I will miss seeing our full sanctuary and children running around hunting for eggs,” says Reverend John Allen. “Yet, even though we can’t enjoy these familiar rituals, we still remember the same good news of this amazing story of life and love. This year, we may need it in ways that we have not in a long time.”
