Forbes House Museum shares ways to enjoy the museum while at home

Looking for something to do during Spring Break?

We have several ways for you to explore and enjoy the museum grounds.
Check out these outdoor activities:

Lincoln Drawing & Essay Contest

We’ve extended the deadline for the Lincoln Contest to Monday, April 20. Entries can be emailed to [email protected] or dropped off at the museum in the large red bin by the side entrance. All of the contest details can be found here.

1st-3rd place winners will be selected in Grades K-8, and a virtual awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 17. Thank you to the Milton Junior Woman’s Club for generously sponsoring this year’s awards!

Milton Reads

The Museum and the Milton Public Library continue to work together on programming for this year’s Milton Reads selection, Voyage of Mercy: the USS Jamestown, the Irish Famine, and the Remarkable Story of America’s First Humanitarian Mission.

Save the Date for May 20, when we’ll be virtually hosting a presentation and Q&A by author Stephen Puleo. More details on this and other events to follow.

Yesterday, WBUR aired an interview with Stephen Puleo by Tiziana Dearing and Jamie Bologna on Radio Boston. You can listen to it here.
