Elaine Benson announces candidacy for Town Meeting Member, Precinct 7

Hello Neighbors,

My name is Elaine Benson and I am excited and honored to be a Town Meeting Member candidate for Precinct 7. I am a Massachusetts native and delighted to have made Milton home for my family, including my husband and our two children who attend Collicot Elementary School.

I care deeply and passionately about community development, sustainability, responsible economic growth, and thoughtful planning that will encompass today’s residents and future generations. Throughout my career in Human Resources and Management, I have become skilled at fostering positive relationships and cultivating consensus. I understand and value the need for inclusivity, and the importance of ethical decision making.

I serve on the Milton Personnel Board and co-founded a local Facebook group thats purpose is to provide a platform for residents to reuse and repurpose items rather than contribute to waste. With a strong commitment to sustainability, I hope to contribute innovative ideas for ways Milton can reduce our impact on the environment.

I value the importance of our community members sharing their insights and having a voice in the many important decisions affecting our town, and would be honored to listen to the needs of our community and represent the collective voices of Precinct 7!
