Caller reports a possibly injured deer was left on side of road last night at 7:48PM. Deer is still in side yard. White van, V48572, with female passanger stated to caller that she did not want the deer to be hit by a vehicle and a police officer helped load the deer into the van for transport away from highway. Then left the area. Officer reports the deer ran off when she approached it.
