Town Administrator Screening Committee update
The committee has met with potential candidates and completed their work. They will be submitting a list of finalists to the Select Board, pending background checks, within the next week or two. Richard Wells thanked Mary Aicardi and the Collins Center for all of their help and also thanked the candidates that applied. In the meantime, the contract for the interim Town Administrator, Annemarie Fagan, was approved to extend to Sept 30.
Repurpose funds for Stormwater Best Management Practices
Public Works Director, Chase Berkeley, joined to discuss a time sensitive grant for construction of Algerine Corner Stormwater Best Management Practices to be used instead of the project located at the Collicot School. The Select Board moved to approve this request.
Additional items of discussion
On June 14, the Fire Station groundbreaking ceremony took place. Current Fire Chief, Chris Madden and past chiefs took part in the ceremony.
The next Select Board meeting is scheduled to take place on July 13.
