Interested in becoming a foster or adoptive parent? Training begins in January.

Bridges Homeward (formerly Cambridge Family & Children’s Service) is hosting a January 2023 MAPP training for anyone interested in becoming a foster or adoptive parent in the Milton/Greater Boston area.

MAPP stands for Massachusetts Approaches to Partnership in Parenting and is the required training by the state.

This training will be virtual held on Tuesday evenings in Jan, Feb and March so call or email them to learn more or ask any questions you have: [email protected], 617-876-4210.

Sarah Medrano-Palmer the Director is amazing. These kids are incredible and strong and have been through a lot, and there are definitely not enough foster or adoptive parents to go around. Bridges Homeward was able to recruit some other wonderful Milton Families in the last year and would love a few more. – Noreen Kearney Dolan, Fund Coordinator at Milton Residents Fund

MAPP provides all the training and ongoing support for free, and adopting a child from foster care is also free.
