Milton Receives AAA Rating from S&P Global Ratings

S&P Global Ratings has again assigned its AAA long-term rating to Milton.

This is the highest possible rating that may be assigned to a municipality and reflects that the Town’s financial position and outlook is stable. The Town has been rated AAA since 2014.  The report by S&P Global Ratings identifies several factors that contribute to Milton’s AAA rating, including budgetary performance, regular budget monitoring, long-term planning practices, and a strong local economy.
