September 7th 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.!

The Milton Public Library invites you to Celebrate the Library and all it has to offer the community of Milton.

The Open House takes place on Thursday, September 7, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., at the Library, located at 476 Canton Avenue.

“This annual event gives us a great opportunity to showcase all that the Library offers to the Milton community”, said Will Adamczyk, Library Director. “We are much more than just checking out books!” The town-wide event takes place inside and outside the Library, and is free and open to the public. Featured activities include live music, food, “Behind the Scenes” tours of the building, a Scavenger Hunt, a Book Shop Sale, face painting, raffle prizes, and more.

“We hope to see a great mix of Library “regulars”, as well as new visitors who may not have been inside our Library”, said Library Trustee and Open House Committee Chair, Jaime Levash. “There will definitely be something for everyone, and it’s all free. Food, games and crafts, door prizes, and much more.”

The Open House is also an opportunity to meet members of the Library’s supporting organizations. You can learn more about the Library’s new and traditional services by talking to members of the Staff, the Library Trustees, and the Friends of the Library.
