Artist Bud Burnham to be featured in Wotiz Gallery at Milton Public Library

Art to be featured from November 2 – November 30

There will be an exhibit of paintings by artist Bud Burnham shown in the Wotiz Gallery of the Milton Public Library from November 2-30, 2018. A former art director and graphic designer, Mr. Burnham has been the recipient of more than seventy-five awards. He also received six prestigious Hatch Awards. His work is part of the permanent art collection of Brandeis University. His paintings cover a wide range of subjects: portraits, landscapes, seascapes, children at play and children at the seashore. Employing a traditionalist palette, his work conveys a sensitivity and gentility, especially reflected in his paintings of children. The artist says about his art: “One of my paintings may evoke a memory of a place once visited and fondly remembered. You may see a painting that takes you back to a moment of serenity on Cape Cod, to the Boston Public Garden and the Swan Boats, to Rockport, to a cool summer breeze off of Gloucester or to the island of Nantucket…” Please come and enjoy this lovely display during November.
