Japanese students visit Milton Public Schools: Superintendent’s Oct 1. E-Blast

This has been a very exciting week a Milton High School. We are engaging, once again, on the largest student exchange of its kind.  On those two days, 500 visitors will descend on Milton High School from Sakae Higashi High School of Saitama, Japan.  The students are the entire junior class of Sakae Higashi High School, located one hour north of Tokyo.

This exchange, in its 10th year, is a unique opportunity for students on both sides to make new friends and learn about each other’s respective culture.   The program includes performances by both sides, including the Milton High School Marching Band and a unique performance by some Sakae Higashi Students of the traditional Japanese dance, Yosokoi Soran.
