I’d like to congratulate our High School Quiz Show contestants who competed at the WGBH studios last weekend. Four MHS students – Liam Chase, Harry Kong, Nolan Carvalho and Sindhu Banerjee — took part in “Super Sunday,” along with their coach, MHS math teacher Nancy Mikels. High School Quiz Show is an award-winning single-elimination academic team competition for all high school students in Massachusetts. More than 140 towns competed as part of the qualifying round and we will learn next week whether or not Milton has qualified as one of the 16 teams who will take part in the televised finals.
