Milton’s Frank Schroth shuttered MyTownMatters last summer. While Milton misses Frank’s updates about town, we congratulate him on his current endeavor.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the DRONELIFE team and have the chance to work with Alan Phillips once more!”

“Alan and I met at ZDNet where we built an editorial operations team that launched numerous web sites and online services. We also co-founded uLocate Communicatons (later Where Inc) which was an early pioneer in location based services. Covering the emerging and rapidly growing drone industry will be exciting and I am grateful for the opportunity.” –Frank Schroth

Best wishes, Frank!

Hopkinton, MA – January 4, 2016 – The UAV industry is changing at a rapid rate as new capital, technology and companies enter the next “wild, wild, west” for this emerging market. So too is the case at DRONELIFE.

Today, Alan Phillips announced that Frank Schroth will be taking over the reins as Editor-in-Chief of DRONELIFE.

Schroth is a twenty-five-year technology entrepreneur and executive. Prior to his new role, Schroth spent time at Ziff-Davis, ZDNet, Where.com, and most recently was editor and publisher of the hyperlocal news site MyTownMatters.
