A message from Mary C. Gormley, Milton Public Schools Superintendent
The Milton School Committee and School Administration have scheduled presentations with all school PTOs to inform parents/guardians of the implications of the FY17 Milton Public School budget. The level of funding for the school budget is dependent on the results of a vote that was to be taken at the Special Town Meeting on February 9. That vote has now been delayed until Town Meeting on Thursday, February 11, 2016.
As a result, the presentation that Milton High School/Pierce Middle School PTOs had scheduled for February 11, 2016 will have to cancelled and rescheduled after February vacation.
Please note that the other PTO FY17 Budget presentations are still scheduled as follows:
- Collicot/Cunningham PTO, Monday, February 22, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the Collicot/Cunningham Library
- Tucker/Glover PTO, Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the Glover Library
We will let you know when a new date has been scheduled for the Milton High School/Pierce Middle School FY17 Budget presentation.
