This meeting will focus on formally releasing the data the MSAPC has collected over the last six months about Milton’s substance abuse and behavioral health challenges.
Afterwards, attendees will break out into smaller focus groups to begin exploring the why behind the numbers.
The MSAPC hopes to have a lot of community members in attendance so please make every effort to attend. Bring a friend!

Milton Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition: Why We Have Come Together
The misuse and abuse of alcohol, over-the-counter and prescription medications, and illicit drugs increasingly affect the health and well-being of millions of Americans. These issues affect families of all circumstances and people of all ages. Further, mental health disorders, such as depression and anxiety, are extremely prevalent not only in adults, but in children and in seniors. Those affected often feel shame and are reluctant, or don’t know where to seek help, support and treatment.
