Milton’s Special Education Program Review, Parent Presentation, March 16th

Milton’s Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) welcomes parents to learn about the district’s recent special education program review conducted by the Public Consulting Group (PCG) at a special presentation on Wednesday, March 16 at the Glover Elementary School library, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

PCG released its comprehensive review at the Milton Public School’s (MPS) School Committee meeting on March 2. The presentation, along with the full report, has been posted on MPS’ website: http://www.miltonps.org/committee-presentations.php (located under March 2016).

The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness and efficacy of MPS’ special education policies, procedures and practices, and their impact on student outcomes. Parents will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about next steps from members of PCG and Tracy Grandeau, MPS Administrator of Pupil Personnel Services.
