Senator Joyce, DCR to hold public meetings on Blue Hills Deer Management Plan

BOSTON – Senator Brian A. Joyce (D-Milton) announced a public meeting in Milton and Canton to discuss the 2016 White-Tailed Deer Management Plan for the Blue Hills State Reservation.

Department of Conservation & Recreation (DCR) and Department of Fish and Game (DFW) staff will review outcomes of the 2015 controlled hunt and review the proposed deer management plan for 2016. All are welcome to attend.

DCR and DFW have issued a report regarding the 2015 Deer Management Program. The report provides details regarding the logistics, operations, and results of last year’s controlled hunt.
