“Dunkirk” to be this month’s Tuesday Night at the Movies choice

Movie to play on Tuesday, May 15th at 6:30 p.m.

The Tuesday Night at the Movies pick this month is “Dunkirk” which will be shown on Tuesday, May 15th starting promptly at 6:30 p.m. From filmmaker Christopher Nolan comes this epic thriller, starring Fionn Whitehead, Kenneth Branagh, Mark Rylance and Tom Hardy. The story unfolds on land, sea and air, as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are trapped on the beaches of Dunkirk with enemy troops closing in: RAF Spitfires engage the enemy in the skies above the Channel, trying to protect the defenseless men below. Meanwhile, hundreds of small boats manned by both military officers and civilians are mounting a desperate rescue effort, risking their lives in a race against time to save even a fraction of their army. The running time is 106 minutes and the rating is PG-13 for “intense war experience and some language” so the film is not suitable for young children. This is an excellent film so please come.
