The Milton Historical Society is a non-profit organization founded in 1904 to collect, preserve, publish and exhibit artifacts and records relating to the town of Milton. The Suffolk Resolves House is the headquarters of the Milton Historical Society and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places because of its significance in American political history.

The Society has extensive collections from all periods in Milton history: portraits of Milton residents, watercolors of the Neponset River, needlework and samplers, and artifacts from Milton companies—Walter Baker Chocolate Co., Thatcher Farm, Copeland Company (Milton Spring Beverages), and Gustave Salzberger Star Compass. There are too many items to list here. Come to the Suffolk Resolves House for a tour this summer!
