Learn how to make maple syrup at Blue Hills Trailside Museum’s Maple Sugar Festival

Maple Sugar Festival to be held at Brookwood Community Farm

Join Mass Audubon’s Blue Hills Trailside Museum and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation as we continue a more than 20-year-old tradition of making maple syrup at Brookwood Farm in Canton.

Put on your boots and flannel shirt and join the fun!

Enjoy the free shuttle ride aboard the Maple Express Trolley. Smell the wood smoke as you watch clouds of steam rise from the bubbling sap. Savor the taste of real, fresh maple syrup. Discover maple sugaring through time. Kids games, warming fire, birds of prey demonstrations, and much more! Activities for all ages. This is an outdoor event so please dress warmly! This program is wheelchair accessible.

Lunch, snacks, hot drinks and local maple syrup available for purchase. Participating food vendors include
JW Kettle Corn, Compliments Food Co., and Wahlburgers.

Saturday and Sunday, March 23rd and 24th from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Inquiries please call 617-333-0690.

Admission:
$10 for adults and $5 for children, age 2 and under free. Cash only please for admissions.

Location:
Brookwood Farm at 11 Blue Hill River Road, Canton, MA 02021. Brookwood Farm is located in the Blue Hills Reservation. Take Exit 3 (Houghton’s Pond) off Rte. 93 and follow signs to Maple Sugar Days parking.
