Milton Parks and Recreation and Milton First Responders to provide basic home alone safety class

Class to give tools to help children with staying home alone safely

Now that your child is old enough to spend some time home alone, let’s give them the tools that will help them prepare with some basic home alone safety. A class will be held on Thursday, April 18th from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the MPD Conference Room for girls and boys ages 8-12.

This involves…

• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle emergencies
• Basic First Aid
• Fire safety
• Online safety
• Choosing healthy snacks
• Age-appropriate activities and games when home alone

The cost is $10 per person.
