Awards Ceremony 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Open House 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The public is invited to the Forbes House Museum’s annual Lincoln Day Celebration! Alexander & Co., the Fruit Center, and Tremont Credit Union for sponsoring the awards and reception.

Then at 2:00 p.m., the house and grounds will be open to the public free of charge. Winning drawings will be on display inside the museum. There will be costumed reenactors (including a cavalry member!), Civil War era games and activities, and the opportunity to write letters to Deployed Troops, Veterans, New Recruits and First Responders. Visit the Lincoln Cabin, and view film footage from Lincoln Day celebrations dating to the 1920’s. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.

Lincoln Day 2019 is made possible in part by a grant from the Milton Cultural Council, a local agency, which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
