Town of Milton’s trash collection schedule to change, effective July 1, 2019

Town to return to a 5-day waste collection schedule

The Town of Milton’s trash collection schedule will be changing, effective July 1, 2019. Beginning on July 1, the Town is returning to a 5-day waste collection schedule. Residents can look for their new collection day at www.townofmilton.org/trashday. Yard waste will be collected on the same day as other waste.

When a collection day falls on a holiday, that day’s collection and all remaining collections for the week will be delayed by one day. Friday’s collection will be on Saturday. The schedule for holidays in 2019-2020 is as follows:

Thursday, July 4, 2019 (Independence Day)
Monday, September 2, 2019 (Labor Day)
Monday, October 14, 2019 (Columbus Day)
Monday, November 11, 2019 (Veterans Day)
Thursday, November 28, 2019 (Thanksgiving Day)
Wednesday, December 25, 2019 (Christmas Day)

Wednesday, January 1, 2020 (New Year’s Day)
Monday, January 20, 2020 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
Monday, February 17, 2020 (Presidents’ Day)
Monday, April 20, 2020 (Patriots’ Day)
Monday, May 25, 2020 (Memorial Day)
