As we all begin a well deserved winter break, I want to wish all who are celebrating holidays this week a very Happy Holiday and to all of our Milton Public Schools students, families and staff a Happy and Healthy New Year and restful winter break with family and friends.

Below you will see some of the holiday activities and events that have happened at our schools over the past few weeks, please take a moment to join me in celebrating the giving spirit of the students and staff of the Milton Public Schools.

We look forward to seeing staff and students on Thursday, January 2nd for the 1st school day of 2020.

We welcomed our Milton Public Schools retirees to Milton High School on Monday of last week for our annual retiree luncheon. This chance to celebrate the educators and staff who impacted so many of our students throughout the years is always a highlight of the holiday season. A special thank you to The Tsanotelis Family and Eagle Farms for their very thoughtful donation of fifty holiday arrangements and to The Resnick Family and ProForma Printing for their generous donation of many gifts for the attendees.

Each morning at MHS last week, we were greeted by beautiful music. We were also treating to some caroling in the halls on Friday.

Our schools held various drives over the past few weeks for those in need. Student (and staff) groups collected socks, coats, clothing, gift cards, money, toys and more to be distributed to those in our Milton community who need a helping hand during this holiday season. We appreciate these efforts and thank those who coordinated and donated to make them successful.

We said goodbye and Happy Retirement to long time MPS recess/lunch aide and Community Schools employee Deb Hayes this week. We wish you all the best Mrs. Hayes!
