Frank Schroth announces candidacy for re-election, Pct. 2 Town Meeting Member

Frank Schroth is seeking re-election as a Precinct 2 Town Meeting Member.

Frank has been active in a variety community organizations and civic activities including Town Meeting Member, member of the Milton Library Board of Trustees, member of the board of the Friends of Milton Crew, a founding member of ArtSpace Milton, and coach of Milton Youth Soccer. Over the years, he has volunteered his time with Brookwood Farm, NepWRA, and the Milton Food Pantry.

Frank recently retired as Editor-in-Chief of DroneLife, a publication covering the commercial drone industry. Prior to that, he was the editor of MyTownMatters, an online news service about the people, events, and issues that matter to Milton, MA. He was a co-founder of WHERE, a firm that developed location-based services for mobile phones, and he spent many years developing web properties for ZDNet (now CBS Interactive) and Reed Elsevier.

“Along with firm support for our schools, library, and cultural life, I will work to address specific issues for Precinct 2, including but not limited to the ongoing commercial future of the Central/Eliot and Lower Mills business areas. I am in support of Milton’s Master Plan, the hiring a Chief Financial Officer for the town, and other strategies that will enable us to take a more comprehensive, forward-thinking approach to town governance.”

Frank and his wife Annie Davis moved to Milton in 1988. They have two children, Meg and Steve, both proud graduates of Milton High School.

“I have been involved in the Town of Milton since we moved here, and I hope to continue to serve this great community as a town meeting member. We find ourselves in difficult times; but we will, as a town, find a way to carry on. I am open to all points of view and will work hard to represent the the voices of Precinct 2 and the best interests of the Town of Milton.”

Frank Schroth would appreciate your Pct 2 vote for Town Meeting Member.
