Covid-19 update

Though cases are going down a bit, we still need to wear masks, wash hands and exercise social distancing. The next free testing site date will be held on April 25, the Sunday after spring break, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the DPW yard. People are urged to visit the mass vaccination sites to obtain their vaccinations, such as those being held at Gillette Stadium and other locations across the state. Runway 4R letter

Thomas Dougherty of the Massachusetts Port Authority Community Advisory Committee joined the meeting to discuss the updated Runway 4R letter. The discussion focused on alternative flight paths and noise impacts. The Select Board motioned to approve the updated runway 4R letter and comments as provided.

Comtronics

The Select Board approved of the Comtronics request for proposal, which is the agreement to use shared space on a tower in Quincy for repeaters, which will in turn enhance the public works radio system which allows all municipal agencies to purchase communicator equipment for use on the shared tower space.
